Even as an electric toothbrush user, you can now switch to more environmentally friendly dental care with confidence. These plant-based replacement brushes are compatible with Oral-B electric toothbrushes. An electric toothbrush is easy to use and it removes more plaque in a shorter time and also reduces gingivitis more effectively than a traditional toothbrush.

The attachment mechanism, stem and bristles consist entirely of plant-based and recyclable bioplastics. Only the moving central part inside is still made of traditional crude oil-based plastic, which is necessary due to the high stress on that part. However, this part only makes up about 10% of the entire replacement brush.

The bristles consist of 100% renewable raw materials because they are based on castor oil. It is extracted from the seeds of the fast-growing wonder tree. Castor oil is a completely renewable natural resource that does not require large amounts of water, uses only a small surface area and is therefore perfectly suited to the future of sustainable agriculture.

The rotating head of the brush ensures even cleaning of teeth and gums. Thanks to the small size, the design of the head enables optimal navigation in the mouth and easily reaches even the back corners. At the same time, the rounded bristles allow the teeth to shine without damaging sensitive areas.

Instead of creating their own electric toothbrush, TIO decided to design replacement brushes that are compatible with existing Oral-B® rotating electric toothbrushes. This saves resources because you can continue to use the electric toothbrush you already own - but complement it in a more environmentally sustainable way.
