How does ecoegg work?

We recommend cleaning your washing machine with a Detox cleaning tablet to remove residues of previously used detergents and fabric softeners before using ecoegg for the first time.

Open the ecoegg and fill its larger half with all the black and white pellets provided in the package. Close the ecoegg until it clicks shut and place it on top of the laundry in the washing machine drum.

The washing pellets and the ecoegg work together with water to clean laundry without harmful chemicals. The black tourmaline pellets soften the water, thus also acting as a natural fabric softener. READ MORE

Ecoegg's mineral pellets do not contain petrochemicals, enzymes, bleaches, phosphates, parabens, sodium laureth sulfate (SLS), sodium lauryl sulfate (SLES), palm oil, or microplastics.
